Ok, I sincerely apoligise for reviewing the same author twice in a row! And, I've even sorrier that you'll be seeing another review of one of his books shortly! You see, I've just started The Fault in Our Stars (I got it for my birthday, alongside a Kindle Fire)! I mean, you must be sick of John Green now... But, the problem is, after reading one of his books, you feel the need to read more! I mean, I read
Paper Towns, and then
Looking For Alaska and now
The Fault in Our Stars... I just can't stop reading his books! I know I said I didn't like
Looking For Alaska as much as
Paper Towns... But I've reevaluated things and can conclude that I like them both the same! It's just, you have to wait a while for
Looking For Alaska to kick in... The impact of
Paper Towns is immediate, but the more you think about
Looking For Alaska, the more you love it! Which is why, I'm planning on scraping my rating system–shock, horror! So yes, say goodbye to the Rubys... I know some of you liked it... But I've realised how difficult it is to split books into different ratings! It's almost impossible! I can't say one is better than another when they are completely different... Instead, I'm just going to sum up each book in one word or one phrase... After each word I choose (the word will be displayed in lovely graphics), I'll explain why I chose this word and the meaning behind it. I'll gradually be adding a word to each of my past reviews (see
Looking For Alaska, Paper Towns and
Insurgent). I'm sorry! But it's so much easier this way!
Anyway, here are a few books I'll be reading/reviewing shortly (I haven't got the third one, but I'll buy it on my Kindle):
I hope you don't miss the gems too much! Strangely, I don't think I will...
I really want to read The Perks Of Being A Wallflower! I've been wondering whether to read Delirium so I'd love to see a review! Love the rating/one word system - It's really different and I haven't seen anything like it. Love it!!! xxxx
ReplyDeleteI know! My friend is reading The Perks of Being A Wallflower and keeps going on about it's brilliance! And I'm so relieved you like the word idea! I've done three so far & I'm really enjoying it! :)

Thank you! I'm glad you like the idea! :)
DeleteI love the one word idea it is very creative! I hope you love The Fault in Our Stars like I did. Once I read it I wanted to read John other books so bad! I hope to sometime this year. I love Delirium! I just go my friend to read and she loved it, so I hope you like it.
ReplyDelete-Jane :D
I'm glad you like the idea! I hope I do like Delirium, and I hope you get some more John Green books! they're great!
DeleteHmm... I don't do rating wither but on Goodreads you do so you really are comparing them. No one cares that you are reviewing John Green's books so often. I mean it's John Green. He's kind of amazing :D
ReplyDeleteKind of amazing? John Green is amazing! :)
DeleteCode Name Verity was brilliant!
