Quick Post – Bookish Updates!

Ruby :) | 20:53 | | |
This is just a quick post to tell you that I have received two books for review (via Netgallery) from Macmillan and Harlequin. Secondly, my reviews of Code Name Verity and Delirium will be up very soon! Finally, I've just edited the second edition of the newsletter and it will be sent via email on the 30th… If you want to receive it, sign up on the 'newsletter' page! The people who received the first one will hopefully be able to tell you they enjoyed it! Here are the two books I received:

Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right person to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? Or are Dash and Lily only destined to trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations across New York? Could their in-person selves possibly connect as well as their notebook versions? Or will they be a comic mismatch of disastrous proportions? Rachel Cohn and David Levithan have written a story that will have readers perusing bookstore shelves, looking and longing for a red notebook of their own.

Sixteen-year-old Dusty Everhart breaks into houses late at night, but not because she’s a criminal. No, she’s a Nightmare. Literally. Being the only Nightmare at Arkwell Academy, a boarding school for magickind, and living in the shadow of her mother’s infamy, is hard enough. But when Dusty sneaks into Eli Booker’s house, things get a whole lot more complicated. Eli is dreaming of a murder. Then Eli's dream comes true. Now Dusty has to follow the clues—both within Eli’s dreams and out of them—to stop the killer before more people turn up dead. And before the killer learns what she’s up to and marks her as the next target.

Oh, and also expect a review of The Archived soon! Note: I'm not allowed to post my review of The Nightmare Affair till closer to the release date (March).

Comments make my day! I'll always try to comment back on your blog, and so feel free to leave me a link. :D Unfortunately though, I'm an award-free blog and I don't do follow-for-a-follow. But that aside, have a nice day!
